Ryan Romero is a board certified music therapist, practicing in the southern Florida area. She received her undergraduate degree in music education and psychology at the University of Memphis in Memphis,TN and her masters in music therapy at Loyola University in New Orleans, LA. While in New Orleans, she completed her internship at Children's Behavioral Health Hospital in New Orleans, working with children and teens ages 7 to 18, utilizing various creative music experiences to help her patients express a myriad of emotions and meet a multitude of goals. She also has experience with incorporating music into the educational process, helping her clients meet goals such as improving receptive and expressive language, sustained attention and strengthening self esteem. Ryan is excited to extend her affinity for music to the classroom at ABLE Academy and help her students grow and become their best selves.
Madi was born and raised in Illinois. She received her bachelor’s degree in Human Environmental Studies: Child Development from Southeast Missouri State University. Madi previously worked at a private school teaching kindergarten and is very excited to join the primary team. Madi is a Registered Behavior Technician with experience working with children with autism. She possesses a certificate in Child Advocacy Studies. In her free time, Madi loves spending time with her fur babies, Prince & Lilo, outdoors hiking and exploring. She also likes to remember, “Try to be a rainbow in someone else's cloud.” (Maya Angelou)
