Founder of ABLE Academy and Applied Behavioral Learning Enterprises, lives every day by her personal mantra, “Pursue Passion, Inspire Through Action.” She is a Nationally Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has been practicing ABA since 1996. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Emotional/Behavioral Disturbances and Communication, a Master of Science in Varying Exceptionalities Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and a Doctorate of Education in Special Education with an emphasis in Curriculum Design. As a classroom teacher, Colleen worked with students with disabilities varying from severe emotional disorders to mental handicaps. Colleen also served as the Lead Behavior Analyst for Collier County Public Schools. In this role, Colleen developed behavioral interventions for children served in all exceptional student education programs ranging from Pre-K Developmental Disabilities to Learning Disabled to Autism/Asperger’s Syndrome, providing hands-on training to educators and parents and individualized behavior therapy to students. As a national consultant, Colleen has assisted school districts, private schools and training facilities in developing group and individual behavior change programs and early intervention programs, providing assessment, program development and regularly scheduled consultations. With a particular interest in children and adults with limited verbal repertoires, Colleen has also been instrumental in assessing and developing individualized Verbal Behavior programs for children and adults including assessment program development and regularly scheduled consultations. In 2013, Colleen co-authored an assessment and curriculum with colleagues, Dr. Patrick McGreevy and Troy Fry, entitled Essential for Living. In 2013, Colleen was awarded with the Gulfshore Business 40 Under 40 Award which recognizes individuals in the southwest Florida community whose work has made an impact on the local community. Colleen is the proud mother of a son, Zachary, a daughter, Julia, and the lucky wife of her high school sweetheart, Josh, who has been and continues to be instrumental in the growth of ABLE Academy.
Dr. Colleen Cornwall
Kim’s personal mission statement is “To Know My Purposes in Life, and to Pursue them with Confidence, Dedication and Passion.” She graduated cum laude earning a Bachelor of Arts in Emotional and Behavioral Disorder Education from Florida Gulf Coast University. Kimberly is both a certified teacher and a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst and has been working with children with developmental disabilities and severe emotional disorders in home and school settings in Naples since 1998. Kimberly is the Assistant Director at ABLE Academy and also provides direct services to clients. When Kimberly is not working at ABLE Academy, she enjoys spending time with her family, enjoying live music and spending time outdoors.
Received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Hamilton College and her Masters Degree in Advanced Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University. Ms. Koch is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has experience working with individuals with special needs in school, home, and community settings since 2003. In Kristine's role as the Clinical Director, she provides direct service to clients, parent training, and staff supervision and support. Kristine's daily mission is to have a positive impact on those around her, whether it be clients, parents of clients, or other staff members, and she strives to make each day better than the last!
Jen practices her personal motto everyday ~ “She who persists prevails.” Jen received her Masters degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University. Jen is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst and Coordinator of STAR Outreach Services. Jen has been a part of the ABLE team since 2005. Jen specializes in the treatment of clients with problem behavior, developmental delays including autism, and clients with limited language repertoires. Jen provides direct service and supervision in nine local childcare centers and also works closely with the teachers and parents in each center to share her knowledge of integrating behavior analysis and verbal behavior into general education classrooms. Jen is a member of ABLE Academy's Leadership Team.
Cassie, a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies from the University of New Hampshire. Her personal experience in the special needs community affords her a nonpareil approach to services she provides. She believes: “Life and work, and life and love, are not irrespective of each other. They are intrinsically linked. We have to strive to do extraordinary work, we have to strive to find extraordinary love. Only then will we tap into an extraordinarily blissful life.” (~Bianca Sparacino)
Originally from Rhode Island, Alicia holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education from Lynn University. She has been teaching children of all ages and abilities since 2007. In addition to her teaching experience, she also has experience providing one-on-one therapy in both the home and community settings for children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities. Alicia strives to meet the needs of each and every individual child. On the weekends, you can find Alicia chasing sunsets with her husband.
Morgan received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from Cazenovia College located in upstate New York. She went on to earn her Master of Science degree in Special Education from University of Texas at San Antonio. Morgan has worked closely with children and adults with developmental disabilities and is a strong believer in patience and compassion. Morgan strives to make life and learning fun for those around her. Morgan believes that if every person were the same, life would be quite boring.
Maria graduated cum laude from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and has her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Capella University. She has worked as a registered behavior technician providing intensive one-on-one therapy in both home and community settings. She is driven by the success of children and is committed to providing them with skills and tools that will help them excel in life. Maria enjoys baking, eating sushi and spending time with family, including her dog and cat.
Allison is a graduate from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s in Communication Science and Disorders and a minor in Child Development. While in college she spent her time volunteering as a research assistant for the FSU Child Language and Literacy Lab with a focus on English Language Learners. When she is not working, Allie can be found studying hard for her Master's in Speech and Language Pathology.
Joining ABLE Academy as a volunteer while he was a freshman in high school, Jake found a true passion for working with individuals with unique needs. Jake currently attends Florida Southwestern State College, where he is pursuing his career in Special Education. A native of Southwest Florida, Jake enjoys fishing and spending time with friends and family on the weekends.
Melissa hails from Ohio where she attended The Ohio State University. She is the mom of an adult son who is on the Autism Spectrum and implemented his early education at home via the Ohio Virtual Academy. Prior to joining the ABLE Academy team, she taught at the Montessori Academy of Naples. Melissa loves to move and enjoys Zumba and LaBlast classes and is an avid reader with a book in progress at all times. She is a firm believer of the message in her favorite quote, “Why fit in when you were born to stand out?”

Maddie grew up in Naples and graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor’s in Music Therapy. While in college, she completed a six-month internship at Golisano Children’s Hospital working alongside the medical team and the child life department. Her love for individuals with intellectual and development disabilities flourished while working for The House of Music Therapy. Creating opportunities for these children to engage socially, improve their language skills, and provide a means of self-expression through music is a passion that she holds. Madeline is ecstatic to bring her love for music therapy to the students at ABLE Academy and begin teaching in the classroom. When she is not working, Maddie can be found on a boat, at the beach, or walking her dogs.
